Here are a few pics of some other jewellry I have made

This first one is a pendant I made out of Sterling Silver Jump Rings. It wasn't hard... just tedious.

These other ones are some bracelets I put together the other day.

WOW, I too like making jewelry, but I have NEVER made stuff that pretty and good! They look like store bought and expensive...I would try selling them somewhere-maybe eBay or something like that!

Wow, those are really pretty. Do you sell them or just have a big stash of your own? :)

See baby... I told you the blue one looked the best. LOL

As for the questions about selling and stuff. <AHEM> Being Sparks' 'business manager' (read:Hubby) I am sure she would be delighted to make stuff for you. I bet you will be amazed at how inexpensive it is as well. She never ceases to amaze me how cool some of the stuff she makes is and then to be told how little it costs, compared to what it LOOKs like it would cost...

This beading thing is really neat. Not that I would ever do it, I have NO patience for something like that. LOL

Oh and Tanya... :hail: You rule. If you keep this up, you might help me attain my dream of being a "stay at home Dad". LOL

LOL actually I have sold some pieces. I take special orders so I made a bunch of stuff for people at Christmas. I also am going to be teaching a class for that pendant in the first picture.

Once the baby is born I will need something to do for income since I am not planning on returning to work.... for one because I don't have anyone to watch the baby.... and I would like to be a stay at home mom... and I don't see much point in working just to pay the day care bill. LOL that seems pointless to me lol. But making jewellry I can do from home. I already have one lady that will let me sell it in her store. So that's a start.... and I can always do Ebay and I'm sure there are other places in the city that might like to try to sell it for a commission.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. I just love to do it.... it is fun and relaxing... but it is always hard to part with my favourite pieces lol. but I can't keep everything lol

Here are some more pics
Thank you everyone

I am so glad you all like them

here are a few more pics of different stuff I made (the quality of these pictures is not quite as good as the first ones)

The red necklace is stunning! Is that a necklace or bracelet? If so, would you be willing to make another?!?! :hail: Red looks the best on my pasty white skin.

Do you mean this one?

If so.... that particular one is a bracelet. it is actually a cool colour called "Fireopal" it is the Swarovski Crystals. It is red and yellow mixed in one bead so some are more red, some are more yellow and some are orange. It is my favourite colour. But we have red as well.

It is quite easy to make and I am always willing to make just about anything lol :D so yes I would be willing to make another. I gave that one to my sister for Christmas.

I have thought about selling stuff on Ebay but I don't know much about using Ebay so it is something I would have to look into.

Grammy, we have LOTS of people that have beads like you do (from their grandparents etc) and they often take them jewellry apart and save the beads and add them into a set they make themselves. it is so neat to see all the different beads and hear the stories attached to them :D and it's neat to see what they turn them into.

OC- Yes I am just starting to branch into the chainmail stuff, I am getting the hang of it. It's actually not too difficult but more time consuming than anything else... but all my seed bead stuff is time consuming too so I don't mind that. LOL the worst part about starting into chainmail was using the tools.... my hand was raw afterwards lol. I need to build up a callous hahaha.

LOL Brattina, WELL you could go to a jewellry store but they would charge you an arm and a leg for stuff lol. Thats the best part about making it myself and selling it... I charge for materials and labour and it still works out to about a quarter to half the price it would sell for in stores lol.

I saw a bracelet in a magazine and they wanted $150 for it.... I priced out the materials in the bead shop I work at and with materials AND labour... it cost $50. LOL
