Actually...Blaze would look SMASHING in our black leather.
And if you want to know how well it holds up to water...ask Mafia Princess, she has a collar for Smudge made out of that leather and from what I understand, Smudge goes swimming a bit. :D

But, yes, the vegan collars do dry faster.

P.S.-
If you have any questions, or need any help, feel free to contact me. :D

Hijack for collar help.

Smudge has this.

I had to promise I'd let him break it in as being nice I wanted to not let him wear it anywhere not clean.. So we've swam in it near daily since we got it.. It's starting to soften and break in well. Looks fabulous, the black is a nice heavy leather. I'm smitten ;) But having bought him multiples.. It's so hard to choose and let them break in ;)

Becca, you're not helping. Gaaaahhh. Trying to break out of the 'normal black and blue color' scheme I have going on. :lol-sign:

I'm really leaning towards the Vegan collar you have. I love the teal, but yellow is so...bold and not normal for me. But then I also like the light blue (baby blue?).

I will definitely be contacting you when I order one for other questions, too! :)

Soooo, Frodo got a bath the other day and now my most favoritest of his collars (that he has had for YEARS) smells like dead matter. :(

This means I need collar therapy, right?
(I really want a control collar, just sayin)

How would pewter, kiwi green, watermelon pink, and deep plum purple hold up? Oh, and olive brown.
Olive brown is very very nice soft leather. We have that one for Popcorn, he has a 1 inch embroidered olive brown collar and we love it. We haven't had it that long but it's holding up very very nicely. No signs of wear or damage at all.

Mafia/Becca,
How thick is that collar that Smudge is wearing?

Also, is there any way to make the CACDRR collar in a 1" instead of the 1 1/4"?

That leather is...er...9-11 oz thick (leather weight, um, probably about 3/16" thick, maaaayyyybbbbeeeee a little less)

Not with the sheriff star on it, but we could swap out the sheriff star and put a 1" ranger star on it.
Would that be ok with you?

Derp, I meant to say how wide is the collar? Sorry!

Darn, I really like the sheriff star design. Maybe, lol. I need to think about it. I'm so picky! Frodo definitely rocks the color blue though, and I love how simple that design is.

oh!!
her collar is a 1.5" wide, tapered to 1" at the buckle.

Is Frodo big for a corgi? We could always make it 1.25" tapered to 3/4" at the buckle. :)

I just don't know if Frodo is hardcorg enough to rock a 1.25" collar.

I will take a pic of him in his 1" and see what you guys think...

Tapering 1.25" down to 3/4" would certainly make it more "size appropriate". The 3/4" buckles are a nice double-bar, where the 1 inch would be a heavier halter buckle.

Annnnnd now I ordered Chloe a collar. I ordered Rylie a collar from a different site and felt totally guilty so I bought Chloe an Ella's Lead. Black leather, fuchia suede lining, and pink rhinestones/silver spots :D
