That kind of sucks, but on the other hand HOORAY I will be able to make it now, for whenever it gets reschedualed!

we've got a ton of flooding going on here as well.

Hmmmm, I wonder if I might be able to make it now. I am out of the Midwest the weekend you guys were holding it!

This is MAJOR flooding, the worst it's been since the really awful floods back in 1993. It will take a good amount of time for everything to get back to normal... and depending on what the weather does in the next few weeks it might not be okay by then. It's not just the flood waters, either, but drinking water and water pressure are affected by all the flooding.
Everybody stay safe!

Y'all don't think it will be cleared up in two weeks?
Definitely not, sadly. It's pretty much a disaster area out here. And with more rain in the forecast, things are going to get worse.

Honestly, I'm just waiting for Hillside to be evacuated...

Yeah, I'll just come stay with you. Actually we live on a hill so we should be okay. Hopefully.

Agreed scob - I'd love to go to Gatlinburg, but I didn't budget for it - and the gas for the drive would be... oh man, in the hundreds of dollars. :(

Wow. Y'all should just come on down to Texas. It's always dry down here. In fact, the side of the highway was on fire the other day. Someone probably threw a cig out the window or something. Don't worry, though. That doesn't happen often. :)
