Just thought I'd throw out another tag maker option out there. They seem to be just starting up, but I've sent them a conversation about a custom piece, for myself, and their artwork is amazing. They do etching of tags as well, and are going to be offering copper, brass and nickel silver.

The prices are amazingly reasonable right now, I think they're underselling themselves actually, so I wouldn't be surprised if they went up, but I'm ordering a custom piece, and I'll let you guys know how it turns out when I get it.

They're currently only on FB I think

So I ordered a regular stamped tag around 9:30 and by 11:30 she had my tag done. !!! Plus she was super friendly and helpful. I don't have it in hand yet obviously so I can't speak to the weight/feel of it, but I already know I'll be going back for another tag for Rowan.

I've already been talking to her about doing a few tags for me. I'm going to get "Este Grillo Hecho en Mexico" etched onto one for Cricket. Still thinking up ideas for the boys. She is super nice and has been responding quickly to my messages.

Whelp, I talked to her and she can put the golden snitch from Harry Potter on a tag for me, and I just happen to have Snitch. Now to decide what size. Decisions decisions.

How heavy are these? Like...in relation to a Fetching Tag? Anyone have both?

I don't have one so I can't say for sure, but Fetching Tags are aluminum which is incredibly light, even when thick. The other metals are going to be heavier. I'm not sure how thick these are from the photos but it doesn't look too thick. I don't think they would be ridiculously heavy though (the Fetching Tag brass ones are quite heavy from that what I hear, but they are also thick like their aluminum ones.)

Aluminum can't be etched without messing with some not-fun chemicals, so that's why the different metals here!
