maverick is home !!!!!

Maverick left an hour ago to go to his new forever home and I am very happy. You ask how can I be happy to loose Maverick when I loved him so and had bonded so deeply with him ? Because he he I can see him everyday and he will be on the lake with me as well why?? Because my son Dan fell as hard for him as I did and he now went to live with Maxwell and Peanut. Hubby and I are keeping Oscar the nine year old man. He stands no chance out there either so we are now currently a 6 ACD family sheesh. Dan's three are my rescues too lol. This is why I say don't bring them home. I know me. I can put them in our rescue and work hard to home them but I do not bring them home for this reason. However Maverick stole my heart and I broke my rule as you know and Oscar was going to be put down if I didn't so there you have it. Maverick is still in my life and Oscar will live what he has left here with my other aging crew.

Tonight is the first night in many that I feel as if a big weight has been lifted and am again really happy. These two I was not sure I held a lot of hope for but now I know they will have the good life they deserve. Next Saturday all 6 are going to the lake. This should be a riot. Beware Lake Mead.
