Looking for help with a possible transport! (Chicago and on....)

If you may have saw, I'm interested in adopting one of the puppies AmberH is fostering! (http://www.chazhound.com/forums/showthread.php?t=275017). They are in Indiana, and I am up in Wisconsin in Superior / Twin Ports, so, am hoping I could get a transport arranged for as close as possible.

Amber said she'd be willingly for a leg from where they are in Indiana to Chicago, so, if anyone in the area / knows anyone in the are who may be interested in picking up a leg from there, to the next point? I'm also wondering if anyone is in/near Minneapolis, who might be willingly to do a pick up from that leg, or, maybe if there is someone who could pick up in the middle from where our transporter in Chicago stop, then have them come closer to Minneapolis, and meet someone from the Minneapolis area, at a point? If we find a person for those two legs.

Then I'm about 2.5/3 hours from Minneapolis, and so could probably do that final leg there and back!

I of course am willing to pay for gas fees.

Hopefully you're seeing what I am trying to say and figure out. It was only decided tonight that I am indeed interested and have put an application in, so things are working on being figured out, as you can probably tell.

When are you aiming for this? I drive from Kalamazoo, MI through Chicago to Milwaukee every month or so, and would be willing to pick up a pup free of charge on my way.

I'm heading there this Friday the 2nd in the evening. Not sure if that's too short of notice?

I think we're aiming for the weekend of the 10th. Pup has to be neutered first and that won't be until the 6th.

Okay! Thank you for apparently not posting yesterday, reply! :yikes:

But I'm having to reopen this, due to my part, with running into a vechicle issue. And thus, it looks like I'm going to need him to be brought all the way to me in Superior.

Now, we are all good up until Madison, WI - where I'm looking for someone who would not mind to meet up with Moth to pick up. She did also say she wouldn't mind driving a little bit farther if need be. I am 5 hours from Madison, though. So, I'm not sure if that might require two extra legs, or not? Since depending on where you are, it could be pushing quite the round trip.

Just an update that puppy is currently staying the night with Moth, and making his way home to me tomorrow afternoon! So many thanks to both Moth and AmberH for getting him here!
