Here's some Quinn for you!

I've been seriously unmotivated to take pictures lately, don't know what's up. Quinn recently has started on sheep though so I got some pictures of her first time and my mom took some pictures of her in the dandelions last week, so here we go!

She will be two in August - time flies! Hard to believe, really.

First some random ones from this winter ...

And her sheep re-introduction. She had a short assessment on sheep when she was 6 months old but this is her first time seeing them since. We had no idea what she was going to do after all that time. She ran tight and fast at first but after a few minutes began to slow down and take the pressure off. She works absolutely silently and never gripped - she did a little side nip once but I don't think she even made contact.

Ok, my first question is how in gods name could you be unmotivated to take pictures with a dog like that near you. She's so gorgeous and so stunning. I love her. So.Much.

She's matured really nicely, she just seems like such a great dog with an amazing disposition. Love her.

Thanks again!

Pan - we're working with a trainer located right outside of Barrie. She was very highly recommended to us by a few different people and I'm so happy we got in touch with her!

Shai - that's the plan! We've had three lessons so far. I am on the other side of the fence at the moment - I injured my knee a few months ago and as a result am very, very wary of getting run into by the sheep, but I hope once Quinn becomes a little more consistently settled with the sheep I'll get the nerve to go in!

Lucky! I'm up in Sudbury so I'd have to travel at least to Barrie to work stock. After our seminar here I was going to go down to Niagara every so often to keep training but it's so expensive. For now I'm going to concentrate on agility.

It's so cool to watch dogs herd though, and it seems to be so good for them mentally.

I know I already saw a couple of these earlier, but I can't help but tell you again just how stunning she is. I absolutely love her. She's grown up and matured so beautifully.
