Skyler, my husky/border collie mix is about 1 yr old. i have had him only for a few months. he is a GREAT dog.
i am only having one issue with him. he is very mouthy
he likes the chew all up and down my arms and legs. and if he isnt chewing... he is licking. he usually likes to lick my feet, or the carpet.
and if he's not doing one of those things, he has a squeeky toy or chew bone.
I assume considering his breed, he wants to be busy and maybe licking is his job. and he chews me when excited because he doesnt know any better.
Skyler gets about 1 1/2 hrs walking a day. plus 10 minutes of fetch about 3 times a day. dog park once sometimes twice a week.
we do obedience daily but usually not for 10 minutes. on the weekends he gets a hour or more a day
any tips for me to stop this behavior?
