That my guess too, I was wondering if anyone say anything else. He's a foundling/rehome. Someone found him or something then my parents found him and called the number and found the people who had him last wanted to rehome him so he's found his new spot. his name is Keep-me keepe for short and my mom thought he was a jrt/ig, I think it's just a rat.

Rat terrier comes to mind, but the face is a bit long in the 1st pic..could just be the angle. Is the dog purebred? If not maybe rat terrier/fox terrier mix

That's along the lines of what I was thinking. When I was in high school, I babysat for a couple who had a dog wholooked like a taller version of Keepe, but with a tail. They were told he was a Whippet/terrier mix.

I say Rat Terrier too. There is so much diversity in breed type, from size to physical structure, so I'd say this dog could easily be a purebred.
