Ugh - lately all I've seen around are very fat dogs and it really makes me sad. The only place I'm really able to see some fit dogs is at agility, but there is even 2 fat dogs that come there sometimes

So, just so I can believe that fit dogs do indeed exist still... will you pretty please share pictures? :D

If you chose not to share pictures, I shall send Evil Cat over to eat you.

That is a most evil looking kitteh. I present a fit Mu for your viewing pleasure.

And here's a pic that shows off Tipper's butt muscles.

And under all this fluff is a dog of STEEL. Ok partly bone and muscle but mostly STEEL. I swear.

Fit puppy being chased by fat adult.

Buzz last winter with photobomber Bailey!

Bailey is typically way too furry and not well enough groomed to see how fit she is. She doesn't have much hair now, so I should maybe try to get pictures, eh? :)

Ugh, I'm glad someone has their head on straight! My biggest pet peeve is people who think that labs should be fat. And people who think that a fat dog is a happy dog. Where do people get this stuff? People tell me all day long that my dogs are "skinny" and ask if I just rescued them. What? Yes, they're rescues, no they're not skinny. What, because Bruno is a lab mix, he should weigh 120 lbs? Pfft. He weighs 65 and he's healthy as can be. I could go on forever about how it's always the owners responsibility to keep their dog at a healthy weight.. etc but I won't. I'll just show off my beasts :) Gosh I need new pictures.. don't have many great shots for this.

Duke is pretty slim - he has a hard time building muscle so he's not very bulky. Everyone says to me though - "Wow what a fit, muscular dog." I go .. really? He's pretty tiny! I do think he's in great shape though. :D For all the swimming he does he doesn't have much to show for it!

this pic shows his thigh muscles :D

And gruff is a beefcake:

Love the pictures everyone... keep them coming :D It is so good to see fit dogs!!

Harleigh has gotten a bit more chunky than I like her, she has also lost some muscle mass... though I'm not sure why that is. Here are some pictures though. These are from a few months ago and I want to get her back to this shape..

This is her now... her coat is really thick right now, then it got even thicker after swimming.

Harleigh is seriously so great looking. I think it's funny how her fur has gotten longer.

And Zhucca, Dukes fitness makes my heart happy. Along with his handsome.

And Blaze, I'm happy you're a smoothie so we can see your figure, causes it's awesome

I have gotten comments (and I admit, stressed a bit myself) about the fact that Gusto is not a roly poly chubby puppy. I rely on my agility friends to keep me in line when I stress about it - he is not skinny, he is just right.

Meg, who has never been heavy or really out of shape is fitter than she has been in ages, thanks to all the exercise she gets keeping the puppy in line!

Sad to see heavy sport dogs; the people I train with will not let dogs who are too heavy on the equipment. It just isn't fair to the dogs.
