Majorly.

I have about 2 months of full coverage left on my POS Thinkpad R61i laptop.

I finally got it fixed sort of today, no thanks to Lenovo, I have told them over and over that the Processor is overheating and is shot due to over heating.

But no, all they do is re image that hard drive, update the BIOS and then send it back.

I had to BUY my own replacement CPU and fix it MYSELF, fix a laptop by buying the parts for it myself that has over 2 months of warranty left on it.

On top of that I found out why the CPU was overheating, they put WAY too much Thermal Grease on the CPU at the factory.

See.

On top of that my WiFi stopped working before I sent it in, they never bothered to even look into that.

Here's why.

They ran the black and gray WiFi antenna wires right on the cooling heatpipe for the CPU, since the CPU was overheating, the wires got melted and shorted out.

The pic of the wires was taken after I replaced them with a pair out of a T30 laptop.

If you can't tell, I am majorly pissed off at Lenovo, as they have run what used to be a very very good company(IBM), straight down into the ground.

Anyone know where I can report these crackheads to?

No, but Ill go right on reporting with you. I haven't seen or even heard ANYTHING from dell about my laptop, that was also brand new, and needed a new motherboard right away. We sent it out on the 7th and since haven't even gotten an email as to if it arrived at dell, or when I'm getting it back. Because Im really starting to need it.

And why did Dell not over night the laptop? Thats was Lenovo does, they overnight you a box to put your laptop in with a prepaid shipping label, which overnights it to them, then once they get it and let the monkeys play with it a bit, they overnight it back to you.

I have repeativly demanded my money back for this laptop, but it's always the same past 21 days crap. Then a tell them to fix it and always get the "Oh you don't know what you are talking about" crap. and they won't replace it either.

Apparently I know way more than the crackhead techs because I was about to replace a Processor without re imaging the hard drive.

Dang, it don't take that long to put a new motherboard in. I could have done it in a day.

I would say call them and annoy them, but I remember you posting something about not haveing a toll free number there. Which really sucks.

When you talked to them over the phone you should have gotten a Case ID number or something, you should be able to go online and look at that to see the progress.
