Oh! *gasp* he's lovely and so is his Dad....so well balanced, just an all around look of put togetherness. When I see that on a Doberman, right off the bat, first glance, there's hardly a need to look at individual body parts. You just know it when you see a fine Doberman. He's absolutely stunning! Keep the pictures coming! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks all!!! I'm very attached to him. He's a sweetie and very bright. Tyson my poodle would prefer he found another home though. Hi Sizzle, Kohls sire is Ch. Sherlucks Time has Come Today, out of Ch. Sherlucks Castle Rock and Ch Sherluck Purple Rain. (out of Boo Radley and Marienburgs Repo man, ect, ect) I believe our dogs are related? I love the dogs in this line. IBM Compatible, Quiet Riot, Lex Luther. I feel very privelged to have him be part of our family. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!!!

Yes - Ilsa is an RP granddaughter, and goes back to some of *my* favorite dogs... Quiet Riot, Angel's Dark Thunder, Chocolate Soldier...

Ronin is an Eddie and Skeeter grandson, so he's got both ends of the spectrum - solid as a rock... and working stock that's known to be a bit sharp.

All in all, I love the peds! Good luck with your pup - I thought I recognized that forechest on him... ;)

Hi Otch1,

Have been off-line for a while. Kohl is a gorgeous boy! I am partial to male dogs. So, when does he start showing? Cole started when he was 16 months. He was a late bloomer; but finished quickly before he was 2. Can't wait to hear the show stories. I am a conformation junkie!

And, can we see more pics as he matures? I enjoy seeing how a puppy matures.

Cole has Eddie and Boo Radley in his pedigree in additon to Wingate's Quiet Riot, Angel's Dark Thunder, Brown's B-Brian and Alisaton's Kinderwicke, etc, etc. There is one Sherluck bitch in his pedigree--Sherluck's Private Benjamin. He is out of Dagger (CH Beaulane Hot Topic) and Lisha (Joric's Devilish Angel).

Would you believe, I've been frosted!

Hi Coles mom! Kohls' first show will be in Jan., the Rose City Classic in Portland, WA. He turns 6 mos. the day he's entered in the specialty. Eeeek! We have a lot of work to do. I think Kohl will be a "late bloomer", he's very balanced but a little short backed right now compared to the other pups. He was not the first pick of the 2 puppies the breeder sent home with me to evaluate for a couple of weeks. They were actually partial to the other male I had, but I had a "feeling" about Kohl and they were nice enough to say "o.k. then this is the one you can have." Faye gave me some great pointers last week at the show and she's now pleased with how he's developing. The Rose City Classic is televised. Hope you get to see it. In my area it's on the Animal Planet chanel.

I like his nice short back! His rear-end is not in the next county. And lord knows, I saw alot of that when Cole was being shown. Don't see too much of it now.

I always watch the Rose City Classic. Nice, big show to start out with. :lol-sign: Will you be handling Kohl? How exciting. He is a beautiful boy. Best of luck.

Thanks!! I was hoping to get in a few smaller shows before then, but no such luck! That's why I'm hoping Faye will handle him for the specialty and possibly one other day, I'll handle the remainder of show. I'm also showing an Irish terrier there. Only the second showing for the Irish. Should be fun!!
