My fosters are getting SO BIG now. Their individual personalities are blossoming and I have a pretty cool group of babies, if I do say so myself! The young ones are around the 4 week old mark right now, the orange boys are going on 6 weeks. And although I'm going to be sad to see them leave, I'm going to be happy to get these kittens out of my house. LOL They're starting to get into the messy stage now, and it's just going to get worse before they go to their new homes! haha

Just thought I'd introduce everybody, and remember, these babies *all* need homes!

This is Zoe. She's the biggest of the younger three. She's always been very independent, exploring and doing things without any backup. She likes affection, but on her terms. She's going to be a total diva when she gets older.

Wee Simon not only gained weight, but he's the 2nd biggest of the younger three now! He is such a sweet boy, calm and quiet, although not afraid to wrestle and play. He's going to be a handsome, sweet boy when he's grown up.

Inara is full of herself and LOUD! She is constantly screaming and talking and carrying on. She's spunky and playful and very sweet. She's going to be like her momma when she's grown up, I think - talkative, sweet, and full of fire!

Theodore is your typical kitten. Sweet, yet independent, calm, but into to everything. I've never seen a more angelic demon in my life. hahaha

Momma River is doing fantastic, but she's starting to get upset being stuck in the room all of the time. I just try to tell her that it's better in a medium sized room than in a tiny cage at the shelter. She is awesome. Super talkative, sweet, playful. She likes to bite your arms and legs and then run away in play. She has no fear at all of the dogs, although I have been keeping her and Histamine 100% separate as she doesn't appear to be too friendly to other cats, or at least other cats around her babies!

And last, but not least, we have Alvin....he's always been my favorite. Well, no, not always. When the two orange boys were brought to me, he was the one that was having the inappropriate suckling issues. He was loud, bratty, and didn't mind his manners. But he has blossomed in to such a freaking awesome kitten. He's bold, he's such a whiner when he's unhappy about something, he's playful, he's gentle, he's the first to try and do anything...and he purrs when he sees me, plants himself solidly in my lap, and goes to sleep.

I've been considering keeping him, but wasn't sure how Histamine would take to him (or how my husband will take to him....hahaha). I purchased a Feliway diffuser for the house a few days ago and Histamine appears to be more relaxed in general now, so I decided to try to start introducing him in short bursts to see how they got along...she loves him. She chirps at him, chases him, beats him up, wrestles with him...she has so much fun with him. Today I let him stay out a bit longer and she even just relaxed on the floor while he did his little kitten thing across the room.

The decision was made today by me to keep him, so long as he and Histamine remain good with one another as he gets a bit older and bigger. Just have to figure out how to gently surprise DH before his arrival home in a few months. lol

Aww! I LOVE River! Too bad Hugo is extremely anti-cat. I hope Alvin and Histamine work out- he looks like a doll : )

Ugh, why must my mom be allergic to kittehs and my dog want to eat them?

I would seriously take them ALL if I could. ALL OF THEM.

I hope they all find amazing homes soon. And I hope you get to keep Alvin.
