yes folks, you read that right.
long story short a breeding i was planning happend sooner than expected.
ruby was in heat, i did all in MY power to keep them on crate rotation and in their "saftey gear" (belly band on jasper, and pants on ruby) they even whent potty seperatly...
well i whent out, told mum they were both crated and would be fine till i got back, if she did let anyone out its jaspers turn and make sure hes wearing his band...
get home, both are out, no "saftey gear"
*head meet desk*
mum tells me she felt bad for them and "thinks he got her"
well to keep the story short...
ruby is looking like she SERIOUSLY needs a diet (very odd for her) and her x-ray apt is on tuesday.
i resisted saying anything because well quite honestly i was mad at myself, and mad about the situation...
BUT after deliberation, im ok with it now, it shouldnt have happend yet, but it did and i get to see what the pairing will look like a little ealier than expected...and now as shes getting larger and closer (end of may due date) ill admit to becomming excited.
i Will say...
ruby is pra-pcrd clear, excelent on knees and elbows and physically sound, shes also a CKC champ (continental, yes yes i know...BUT there the only ones that do shows within an hour and a half of me, and i like that theres not as much drama...not all CKC dogs are byb's)
her temperment is excelent and shes just awesome.
jasper however...
hes about 1/2 way to his AKC and CKC champ, (i did a few weekends of travel)
great temperment and personality but hes too young for knees and elbows, he is PRA-pcrd clear by deafault though so other than his knees not being checked im very confident in the thought of happy healthy nekkid puppies with personalities to die for!
i do also have a couple of interested parties without any advertising...so im confident they will all find excelent homes.
so...
How many nekkid puppies do YOU think she'll have...
average litter is 3-5.
oh and uby has 9! fully formed nipples, 7 of which seem to be startinging to "fill out" more than the 2 highest.
