When we took Riley for his hip & elbow X-rays the other day, the ladies at the clinic asked if he had been taken to a nuclear power plant as a puppy :rofl1: Yeah, he is THAT big... which is why I was worried about his hips, but thankfully the x-rays came out clear and he is totally fine and well developed.

Aura is your 'normal' sized Mal. I haven't weighed her lately but I think she is 55-60lbs. Riley was almost 90lbs at his weigh in at the clinic (good lord).

He's pretty handsome though:

And after much fun and games in the hot weather, they crashed.

Horse, pony, deer, he gets called various things lol!

She looks half his size but according to measurements, she's about 2/3 of his size I think. She can walk right underneath him without much effort.

How tall is he? He has almost 10 lbs on my German Shepherd, and Trent's definitely a lot thicker than Riley. I never realized how huge he was, even next to Aura. Probably because I still think of Aura as the baby puppy. He's a handsome guy, though, congrats on the x-rays!

I have a friend who has a mutant malinois. I dont remember his size now, but it was just under a small end great dane lol. I know he wears a 26" fur saver which is crazy lol

Yeah Riley does look like he has great Dane in him. I thought he was the only one lol! I'd be interested in hearing more about your friends mal. Do they know his lines?

Riley is at least a good 29" at the shoulders from what I can measure. His body is also very long.

Lol I swear I don't! Parents are normal sized. The dam is a little bigger than aura and the sire is a mal x Dutch who I'd guess maybe 70lbs and definitely not as tall. Both are knpv lines so they don't have paperwork.

Aura is bigger than both of mine. LOL

It could easily be the dutch in the blood, my TDs dutch were much bigger than our mals are. Awesome dogs but huge in comparison.
