i just watched it and im in shock, im sitting here in shock. that poor thing was alive and being skinned, and still alive after. OMG im actually sitting here in tears, i switched it off as soon as i saw its poor wee face after, it was wondering what the hell had just happened :(
I know how you feel - when I watched it crying was all I could do - I made the mistake of doing it on my break at work - took a bit to explain that one lol. When I went home I told my husband about it. Even though it had been several hours since I saw it just explaining it took forever. I couldn't get out the words for crying. My husband was in shock. I know that's not the way it's always done but just the thought that it's done at all is so disturbing!!

Can someone erase the nails in the dog's head on the news nite before last..i swear if the people caught doing things like this knew that society would do exactly to them what they did, the world would be a better place. I for one would drive the first nail right into his skull! God it mades me sick.

Oh how it breaks my heart and enrages me at the same time. My mom has a friend who waltzes around in her mink and it is not even pretty (well, to me it isn't). Fur only looks good on animals unless it is faux. I have a faux fur coat and it is so much better because I can wash it if I have to and you can get faux fur in all sorts of exotic colors and prints so why take real fur away from the animals.

I used to like J.Lo but now I won't even buy her music even if I like it, which I do like her new song out, and once I may have bought the cd but now I am not contributing to her salary at all, I won't rent her movies (but that is mostly b/c they suck), I won't buy her music, and I won't buy her clothes.

Let's put it this way, if she were the only supplier of food in all of the world, I would eat the grass from my lawn.
I think you nailed it, Bogolove. If everyone quit buying fur, they wouldn't keep making it, would they? I refuse to support anything to do with the fur industry, just as I refuse to support Wal-Mart or Nike. The best thing we can do is withdraw our business and to spread awareness to everyone we can.

I am sorry for the poor cows..in the books that i read..the day the hog was slaughtered was always a sad day for everyone..but as one said..but the meat went so far for so many. I have run into that over and over again in many different books of farm stories. Cows suffer and i know that..and i will probably have to do this godforsaken planet yet another life time just to learn how to be a vegetarian. I can not eat fruits and vegetables..it has been a curse all my life..they all taste like metal and a banana is worst of all. I ask the cow's forgiveness because i cannot change..and i am sorry to each and everyone of them. I have read what wonderful mothers they are..how they watch for other's babies, that they are capable of great love. My mother told me many things about cows..her childhood was spent watching one so it would not wander off the city easement. I attached this pic in on other place, but i feel it is appropriate her too. Mom says they cried everytime the cow went to the butcher when it was old. At least thoses cows back then had it better than the cows of today. I have talked with a the man in charge of the job of killing the cows. He showed me the skull with the hole in it. I asked him if it was instant..he shook his head with a no of revulsion. I saw that in his face plain as day. I eat little meat these days too, for one to leave more for Aaron but also because i think that everytime i eat meat.

Let's give all those idiots a dose of their own medicine.

I refuse to buy any fur. I try to buy barely any leather, but if you want good sneakers they're most likely going to have at least a LITTLE leather on it. I don't see how anyone can consider wearing someone else's skin "pretty" or "amazing". We don't skin humans and then walk around wearing that skin as a coat...more like flouncing around, actually if you've ever seen someone with a fur coat.

Think about the havoc those fleas would wreak in the fur - and they would go home with everyone who bought a fur - and they'd end up all itchy, with flea bites - and those sorts of people would think it was as embarrasing as having crabs.
