It's Rowan Day!

My best boy, my shadow, my constant companion, is 8 today. It's hard to believe! I always mean to write a big, long post about just how special he is, but honestly? There are no words adequate to describe him and how important he is to me. So I'll just leave it at this: he is absolutely one of a kind. He's a once in a lifetime dog. Thanks everyone! <3 Another Rowan Day has come and gone and he just keeps getting better. I don't know how that's even possible since he's been perfect the whole time I've had him

Also, what, 8?! I thought he was a couple of years younger than that!

That gives me a big case of happy. <3 I'm getting more and more sensitive about his age. He definitely acts like a much younger dog! Other than the gray around his eyes, there's really no indicator that he's 8. People are always shocked when they find out how old he is - most people seem to assume anywhere between 3-6. My goal is to keep it that way for many years to come.
