None of my dogs are suitable for a dog park, honestly. Even tiny, 6 pound Penny will start a fight if the other dog is being pushy.

We recently had a dog park put in and I have taken three of my four there but we were the only people there at the time. When someone shows up, we leave. It's separated into two fenced in areas but I don't trust other peoples' dogs and I know mine would try to start something through the fence.

Closely managed and moving forward walking around, Harlow does fine. Rider is fine. Tulsa gets pretty nervous when dogs run at her full speed, but if it is slow we will go out and I will body block for her. We go infrequently unless I take them to work, which is then a single cattle dog.

Sort of. I'm very comfortable bringing Juno and Cajun to the dog park, although neither of them generally show interest in playing with other dogs. They ignore them and to me that's suitable enough :) They just like the park itself - running through the trees, splashing in the pond etc. which is why we go.

Lucy hates other dogs so she is not allowed. Happy is fine with other dogs and would love to go and sniff around, but she's too easily startled for that sort of environment.

Hugo loves the dog park (it's huge, unfenced with trails) but he's not really allowed to interact with dogs there. 90% of the people there are really great about not allowing their dogs to just run up and interact with other dogs. Going and training there has made a HUGE difference in his ability to focus on me when there are other dogs around. He does go to daycare once a week though and LOVES it.

Chomper has never been to the dog park. I'd like to take him, but knowing the people there and then seeing some of their ways on the Facebook group, I at the same time feel I want to avoid most of the people even if I think Chomper would have a good time playing.

Foxy can do dog parks. She generally ignores dogs when we first get there and then will slowly warm up and start playing. She will give appropriate corrections to dogs that try to slam her with paws and if the dog doesn't get the message the first time we just leave or move to another side if there is one. She looooves when dogs chase her though and she usually will find at least one friend to play tag with.

Both of my dogs are wonderful at the dog park. However, I will only go in with my dogs if there is no more than one American Pit Bull Terrier. Two or more and I leave.:(
