Wow, dog three times in the title. Record?

Shadow, Copper, and Em are. Bloo obviously is not. Copper and Shadow actively enjoy it for the smells (and Copper for the off leash opportunity). Em doesn't really care as long as she gets to play ball.

Yeah, I would say Jackson is. As he's gotten older, he's kind of 'over it' for the playing part -- occasionally he finds a dog he really clicks with and plays, but most of the time he prefers to walk around, sniff, explore, etc. But the other dogs don't bother him at all and sometimes he even quite enjoys it and he's friendly and enjoys a good butt sniffing :p

Yep. All of my dogs are dog park and daycare dogs. Pilot hasn't gone to either yet, I don't know that I'm allowed to take him or not.

Briz: No, but he is a dog beach dog. He only goes to play ball, and he's not allowed to play ball on grass, dirt, or wood chips because he shreds his stop pads. He requires a ball and a chuckit launcher, otherwise he will find someone with a launcher and be their dog until physically removed from the area.

Ru: Only likes other chihuahuas. Are there chihuahuas at the park? Otherwise he is bite-sized and I really don't like dogs 10x his size rushing up and sniffing so hard they hoist his back end off the ground.

Uly: Nope, nope, nope. Uly mostly interacts with other dogs by biting them hard. He hasn't figured out anything else yet.

Hudson has been to a dog park. I prefer not to do large groups of out of control dogs. Hudson is a jerky-mcJerkface, in that he is rude and has no manners. He doesn't want to get his face ripped off, but sometimes hip checking another dog seems like SO MUCH FUN. He has gotten into a few scuffles while at various ES gatherings. Mostly I think it is the balls thing

If it's an all-boy dog park, perhaps. But no. Even if she was, I think I'd honestly feel best just doing play dates with dogs I know.

Nope. Which is fine, because I'm not a dog park person.

*assuming by dog park, you mean the fenced in field type. Not the crazy nice trail ones some places apparently have.

Basically this.
Minus the balls (although I'm sure they started the problem when they were around)

Merlin has a great time at the dog park
....the problem is that he pisses everyone off.

So no, no dog parks for us unless they are empty or much bigger/trail like with less kind of clusters of forced play

Sorta. We used to go to the dog park everyday. Stopped more due to the people than his interactions with the other dogs. He is a rough and vocal player which freaked out a number of people, most dogs didn't have an issue with it, if/when they did he'd leave them alone or I'd redirect him.

We haven't done a dog park in a couple years. Shortly after stopping the dog park we joined a daycare. He was going there once or twice a week, as he settles with age I take him less often. Maybe once a month but he still does well there.

If we had any of those huge open trail style dog parks I've seen others post about I'd love to visit them and he'd do well there. Thunder dome style are just too much hassle.

Maisy: Nooooooo. She hasn't been in an actual fight but she can sometimes be a huge bully (knocks dogs over and won't let them get up again).

Pip: For our dog park, he is the perfect dog park dog. It's a large, wooded park of walking trails and he loves to go there and pretend no other people or dogs exist. It's essentially an off leash hike through the woods for us.

Squash: For our dog park, he's good as long as we go at slower times when there aren't a ton of other dogs there. Otherwise he can get pretty overstimulated and no matter how nice and stable he is nor how good his recall, 90# of overstimulated and zoomie-ing polar bear is not something most owners want their dog subjected to.

Yes for both, but we actively avoid other dogs. Rowan just doesn't care about them, and Riff is incredibly annoying (constant barking, stealing toys, etc.) I take them so that Rowan has some off leash time and to play a good game of ChuckIt with Riff to wear him out. I love taking them to Cherry Creek to swim (it's MUCH bigger than your usual dog park) but unfortunately the water areas usually have other dogs there. I'd love to find another place to take Riff to swim where we can mostly be alone.

Bean is, though he's never been to one. He goes to daycare and is fantastic at dog-dog interactions.

Ham would probably do fine in a dog park setting. He's been great in every off-leash dog group I've had him in, even with the intact male who was constantly wanting to hump him. He told him off appropriately and then let it go.

Luce nope.

Steve would be ok if no dogs bothered him. He can play *around* dogs, but he doesn't like to play *with* dogs.

Leo is.

He plays nicely with almost all dogs, changes his style of play to adapt to others, and listens to cues fairly well when a dog doesn't want to play.

He does give the occasional snark if particularly other male dogs are playing too rough (girl dogs can get away with murder, and he'll just go "0_0 Help!" if they play too rough :p). For now those snarks are loud but appropriate, and with no contact.

Who knows, he could get less dog park compatible with age (as I know many dogs do), but for now its a great place for him to socialize. He really badly wants and needs dog-to-dog interactions, otherwise he becomes way too fixated on other dogs (but is fine ignoring them if he's recently had a good play session). Eventually, I will get a second dog, but for now the best place for him to get that is at the dog park.

Auggie used to be but now he is too old and grumpy to tolerate the general rudeness of most dog park dogs here.

Payton has never been but given how many times he has been attacked for being intact, and his now willingness to end a fight another dog picks with him - no.

Pepper ahahahahahahaha oh God no.
