Here are just a few pics from today, I ran out and got her a couple of cheap sweaters. I really
really like the fleece one, for $5 it is amazing. I wish they made one big enough for Lacey, she doesn't really need it but pffft.
I am going to get two more as spares.
I freaking HATE the pink one, I didn't think it would look too bad but ew it does. That is just too much pink for me! The other choices were baby blue or white. I don't know if the baby blue would be worse or not. White is just a ridiculous color for a coat, it would be so grimy looking after 3 mins. I got it just because it was also $5 and I can layer the two on cold nights. She will be getting a horse blanket type coat eventually (maybe a early christmas gift), now that I know it's not too hard to figure out her sizing.
I put the pink one over the fleece (forgot to take pics) and she was still cold. :rofl1: She was shivering and wanted me to carry/hold her.
And this is what Lacey thought about sweater pics:
Puppy: "Dog. You are weird. It's COLD and you are playing in nasty water!"
Puppy actually tried to play with Lacey yesterday. She bowed, ran up to Lacey, hopped up on two feet and landed right in front of Lacey. The amount of happiness in Lacey's face for that brief second was immeasurable. Kinda like this: XD
The only problem was that the noises that came out of the puppy's mouth next were so freakish that they scared ME. Lacey took it as "GET THE EFF BACK NOW! ROOOOOAR!" I took it as Puppy was about to tear into Lacey, that is honestly what it sounded like LOL. But her body language was bouncy playing puppy trying to initiate a chase session, just with demented dying demon noises. Lacey is verrrry sensitive, the demon noises scared the hell out of her LOL. Puppy did the same thing when Duke came over this afternoon. Duke shied away and left. I really need to get this on video, it's unbelievable. She sounds like what I would imagine a pissed off Fila would sound like. Seriously. Except it's her "playing with you" noises.
Puppy looked brokenhearted that no one wanted to play with her so I played bitey hands with her. And as long as we played she made the noises. So my plan is to start playing more bitey hands with her (I know, shame on me) and as soon as she makes wolverine noises I stop, turn around and ignore her. Repeat until she plays quietly with me consistently. I hope this will cross over to playing with dogs lol. Anyone have better ideas?
