Thank you so much guys!! You guys are awesome - I've been wanting to talk and gush about her to anyone who would listen
Siege is such a beaut. Her personality you describe literally sounds perfect. How's she doing with Trent today? 8D What do you guys play in the fields?
They're doing well! They've been able to hang out in the same room together with her leashed and Trent loose. Trent has made me appreciate him even more now that I have her - I thought it would be a complete mess and he'd be obnoxious, never stop bothering her, loud, etc. I should give him more credit, he's been an angel. He goes about his day as usual and will leave her alone/the room alone if I tell him to.
His dog reactivity is also actually better now that she's here, probably because he's quickly learned ignoring dogs means lots of reward lol He's just been a very good dog. He's also hurt his leg somehow yesterday so he is on rest right now...but I took a walk with both of them for the first time this morning. Went great!! Got pulled this way and that, but overall they were very, very good.
It'll be a while before they can both run around together in the fields! Gotta work on recall first and just rewarding them for getting along.
Where is this trail/bridge/somewhere? I must walk it the next time I'm up around Portland, because I feel like the rest of the area must be awesome too. LOL. (I also feel like I hiked here or a place that looks a lot like this when I was up there)
Definitely not somewhere you've hiked at, this is just a 5 minute walk from my house and located at the fields/park we play in
I love living here!! Come visit, we can take photos there!
Ah, the pics melt my heart!
Her markings, the dark over the shoulders, and the fluffy tail remind me of Pan.
Can't wait to see some training vids, you guys are going to have so much fun!
She is impossible not to love
Training videos will happen soon, she's a blast to train and has me laughing the whole time. She's so enthusiastic and cute in everything she does.
Lucky you! I love breeders that take the time to find great homes for retired dogs. It can be such a great situation for everyone. It's how I got my first dog, though she was much younger and retired only because of pyo, but same type of deal. Good luck, she's one lucky girl and i'm talking about both of you
Thank you so much, I am really grateful the breeder trusted me to have her and is happy with how things turned out
Makes me feel great, and now I have this amazing dog. I do not believe I would have gotten a dog like her, so ideal for what I wanted, if it had not been for the breeder messaging me. I'm very, very happy!!
So fricken happy for you, and amazing pictures!
I'm also super happy she's settling in so well for you!
Yesssss!!! Thank you, and for all your help! This two dog household thing is going better than I dared hope for, and I really appreciate the advice you and everyone else gave me!
Awww, Trent has pictures on that bridge. That makes me really happy for some reason.
What an awesome opportunity for you
It makes me happy, too <3 She's being welcomed into the family and getting her photos taken at all of my favorite spots for Trent
Can't believe my luck and the help and support I got.
