Indianapolis-Area Chazzers - Mutt Strut

I am going to be attending this year with Morgan and Team Doggie Duties. I was just wondering if anybody else knew about this and/or was planning to attend. I know there are quite a few Indy-area folks here on Chaz! And if you are going to be there, maybe we can meet!

This event is a fundraiser for the shelter where I adopted Morgan and the Kitty-Boy Brothers. You go to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and walk your dog around the Indy 500 track! How cool is that!?

Anyways, just wanted to share.

It's neat to see the interest in going! I've never been before, and the speedway is HUGE, so I'm not sure how we would arrange to find each other... any ideas?

Even if we don't get a chance to see/meet everybody, though, it's still an awesome event!

A balloon would be easier for me to handle !!! I could attach it to me and still have 2 hands to TRY to handle Ollie !!! He can take me to my knees too easily !

For those that were interested, I just wanted to give the reminder that registration for Mutt Strut closes on Wednesday, April 22nd. You can still register on the day of the event (Sunday, April 26th), but tickets will cost more.

If you are planning on going, send me a PM and we will try to figure out a way that we can meet up! My group will probably not be arriving until 12:30-1:00pm, just to avoid the rush of people all trying to get in right at 11:00am.

However, as I've said before, this is a HUGE event, so it may not be possible to find everybody if we arrive at different times. Even if we can't find each other, though, it is an awesome event for a good cause. That being said, Grammy suggested carrying balloons, so we can pick each other out, which seems like the best idea so far!

Anyways, I understand that this may not turn out to be the best "meet-up" event, but I figured I would still keep everybody in the loop.

We were there! Doesn't look like we ended up in any of the IndyStar pictures, though. I did take some of my own photos, though, so I will be sure to post them soon!
