Also... I take it that by taking the video wrong that you mean you shot it vertically? My husband does this ALL. THE. TIME and I have no idea how to correct it like you did. We just have a bunch of sideways home movies.

I'm so so happy. I've spent the past 4 years trying to teach her how to lighten up and play with other dogs.

Dusk and I had a really rough start and disliked each other pretty intensely, but I have a really special appreciation for him now. He did what nobody (dog or human) has been able to do, and got through to Eve that it's okay to trust another dog enough to play with them. And the best part is, the behavior is COMPLETELY self-reinforcing so I really don't have to do a thing.

She still hates strange dogs, but hey, it's a start.

Edit: Yes, I shot it vertically. I'm not used to holding the iphone horizontally unless I'm watching netflix or something on it. My boyfriend was right and now that I've documented it on video, I can't get out of paying him ten bucks.

I think it does too! I just need to figure out what to get them for "hooray, you played and Eve didn't kill Dusk" presents.

I also can't help but wonder if Eve's almost complete retirement from being a service dog is what's allowed her to lighten up and act like a dog again.
