Huh, never thought of that before. But then again, if somebody ticks me off enough that I put them on ignore, I wouldn't worry too much about them finding out. :) To tell you the truth though, it's not something I've done. I'm perfectly capable of ignoring people all on my own and don't take some people too seriously anyway.

But now I'm wondering what you see in a thread when you have somebody on ignore? And, LOL, can you put yourself on ignore? And if a tree falls in the forest and nobody's around to hear it, does it make a sound?

If somebody is on ignore and they have posted in a thread that you are in, it just says "Insert Member Name Here is on your ignore list."

It also has a view post or remove user from ignore list there too.

LOL

I bet you could put yourself on ignore.

Yes if a tree falls and no one is there it still makes a sound but no one hears the sound.

I agree with Meggie. If i don't like what another person to say i just read through a thread and when i see there name i either pass it up and go to the next post, or read it and shake my head and roll eyes:rolleyes: and ignore them any way.

And if a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it does it make a sound????.....That is a loaded question. There are many theories on this one

I have had one person on Ignore before, but it ended up getting the best of me. LOL Besides, when someone quotes them, you can still see it anyway. I don't have anyone on it now.

I think it makes a sound since sound is just waves....vibrations. So it still makes the vibrations the only difference is we can't pick up the vibrations.

Exactly! It would just drive me buggy if I had somebody on ignore, posted something, and the ignoree posted right after.

If a man speaks in a forest where no woman can hear, Is he still wrong?"

Answer: YES!
ROFLOL!!!! That's really a good one! And how true....LOL. Just kidding guys.

Well, I would never come close to considering putting anyone on this forum on my ignore list. I don't have such a list because I consider us all to be friends. If we don't always agree or have the same ideas as one another, or even if we have discussions a tad on the heated side, that still doesn't make us not friends. We all love dogs and have so much in common that way...lots of neat stories to share, heartache when we lose our dogs and friends here to give support and caring.... and that is enough to call us all friends. Friends work out differences and speak politely to one another even if we don't agree or if someone slips up a little bit once in a while. Having strong opinions and perserverance is what makes people invent things, discover things, grow and become strong. Being rude or cruel tears it all down.

There are people here who do not respect me, or my opinions at all. Those are the people who are on my ignore list, and they'll stay there.
