I would still like to see a cogent new testament argument that says it's good to use physical punishment on anyone or anything for minor transgressions (as opposed to murder- a major transgression that Paul assures us can be pusished by death).
Children are far more precious than dogs, but neither requires corporal punishment. You show me where Jesus advocates hitting children or dogs and then I will believe you are in the right.

It isn't disregarding anything. That verse tells us how to love as Christians. Love isn't reserved for married people, Christian love is our calling no matter what else we do in life.
I noticed that you also ignored Galatians 5. In that passage we learn that if we want to live according to the old laws we will be accountable for every one of them and Christ will be of no use to us.
If you choose to live your life according to the OT that is what will be used against you in judgment. I accept Christ as my redemption, therefore I don't need legalistic excuses for cruelty that ignore the gift and sacrifice of Christ. As a Christian I follow Christ. Is that a problem for you? I'll not be foolish enough to throw away the sacrifice of Christ, I'll accept it and the salvation that goes with it.
Again, I do follow ALL the Bible. Are you telling me that the dozens of verses in the book of Proverbs regarding CHILDREN being physically corrected are not applicable today? Do you know why there is not any NEW testament verses on this? Because GOD ALREADY told us what to do in Proverbs FOR ALL AGES. Just like the first verse in the Bible where he tells us He created the heaven and the earth. True IN ALL AGES. Back to dogs...

Folks..that is what I am driving at. Emmalee is TOTALLY HONEST; unlike the rest of you. She admits that she is worshipping her dogs. That will be then all worked out at the Great White Throne JUDGMENT between her and the Lord. Thank you EMMALEE for being so honest...the others cannot say what you said.

Wow, you've got a lot of nerve. I don't know what form of religion you claim to follow, but around these parts, people don't abuse their children, nor their dogs as there is NO NEED.
You can use God's word however you'd like and you can twist it around to make it mean whatever you'd like, but GOD certainly wouldn't want ANY of his creatures to live a life of abuse.
If you'd like to continue this "debate" or whatever you'd like to call it, you can take it to the Fire Hydrant, because this is a training forum in which we discuss training issues, not God's word and His supposed want for His People to abuse their children and dogs. You have been told twice now, so take this as your third and final warning, TAKE IT SOMEWHERE ELSE.
