What would your next dog be? No stick in the mud "they wouldn't have a dog" answers. :p

Rick would pick either a corgi (preference to Cardis, but would enjoy either) or another pit bull. Female.

If it wasn't for BSL he'd have another Staffordshire Terrier, but basically anything short haired and muscular. Probably some sort of mastiff but he also likes Rhodesian Ridgebacks.

Something small, possibly a poodle or yorkie? He grew up with bichons but doesn't really want one of his own. He loves Tango and agrees small dogs are the way to go.

If it were his choice, Welshies 4 life.

We like similar things in dogs and if I could talk him into another breed I want I'm sure he would fall in love with that breed too. Right now he says he doesn't want anything but Welshies.

Really, if it was 100% his choice: None. But since I can't use that answer, a flock of retired racing greyhounds.

Hmm... 2 months ago, I would have said a pittie girl. She's always loved them and thinks they're adorable. HOWEVER, she recently met a few Border Collies at the park and she just fell in love with their drive. She really does want a drivey dog (which Hugo is, we're just still working on him being able to focus it and not go nuts). I've been trying to talk her into a BC as nextdog for awhile and now she's totally on the bandwagon : p

Generic Mutt Dog that was found wandering the streets/showed up at our door/fell in to our lap. Even better if Generic Mutt Dog was wolf-y in appearance.

No small dogs, or brachy breeds.

SO says a Dachshund because they look like mini Redbones OR an Aussie. I would go for the Aussie because I'm just not a small dog person.

I got her a pug a couple years ago, and while she'd have a pack of 'em if it was up to her, no more of them. She has dogs she likes, but she's even worse than me about wanting to save all the strays, so something muttley or pittish will work for both of us.

We don't live together, so he can have whatever the heck he wants :p But he's planning on getting a Shiba in a year or so.
