This past Tuesday afternoon, I ate some rice pudding. As usual, Tramp got the cups out of the garbage can and licked them. When I went to work, I had to leave almost immediately because I got severe stomach cramps. When I got home, I noticed Tramp had urinated and crapped in the same place meaning he had another seizure. This got me thinking. There were two other times out of the four times Tramp had seizures that we both got sick from eating dairy products. I can't remember what we ate the other two time. But there were three times I got sick from eating dairy products and Tramp had seizures. Any validity to my theory.

That's an interesting pattern. Were they artificially sweetened dairy foods? I read something once that said large amounts of nutmeg can cause seizures in dogs, maybe there was nutmeg in the pudding?

I hope you can find the cause and keep it from happening again.

That's a coincidence, at least you know when Tramp would probably experience seizure. Please take only for your suspected food that causes that. Hope you figure it out soon.

I think there is nutmeg in rice pudding.

If dairy is the case, I think both of you need to lay off. ;) Or at least make it so Tramp can't get into the trash.

it is possible, dogs are not built to digest bovine milk (goat milk is usually ok though) and seizures can be the outcome of some allergic reactions.

nutmeg and artificial sweetners can cause problems too.

keep an eye on it, make sure he cant get into the trash and no dairy around him and see if it stopps them.
