I'm thinking about getting another one-my prety guy jsut died last week:( I never have good luck with them. I'll have one live four years then another will only last two weeks-this last one we had maybe four months. My bf trusted an idiot at the fish store and got another fish that killed him:eek: Some barb or something.

I think my bad luck stems a bit from picking the saddest looking ones at the stores.

I wanna see picks! I love seeing all the diffrent types and pretty colors-I could never get good pics of mine.

yes they are all separate. most are in two gallon tanks, i have one in a ten with some tetras, and a couple in one gallon tanks... and two in a divided five.

lol, i am addicted to these. soo many different kinds
tail types: halfmoon, double tail, double half moon, plakat, half moon plakat, viel tail, crown tail, delta tails, super delta... LOL i must have all tail types!
and all of the odd colorations.

for some reason none of my betta pics turn out well! i would love to show them off because i am very very proud :)
i have had two shipped to me from thiland. they are "special"

when me and hubby move to a bigger place i am breeding no doubt.

I was contemplating getting a couple shipped in from Thailand, but was worried about shipping costs. How much did it cost you?

Thats cool! My cousin in Brazil breeds Bettas. He has roughly 30 males that he keeps and a huge 4'X10'X3' cement outdoor tank where he keeps who knows how many females. He has a bunch of other tanks of the same dimensions where he keeps hatchlings, young males, and a couple hold other breeds of fish. He even transformed his roof into a giant fish tank as apparently it helps keep the house cooler *shrugs* He ships world-wide to all kinds of fish stores and fish breeders. Havent seen him in years though so Im not sure if he still has everything how I remember it.

i do have a few but they are awful! i swear you cant even see fish in it.
seems like a pain taking pictures of fish tanks. you need to turn off flash, angle the camera a wierd way. and without a digital camera i would spend a ton in film before i finally got a good pic!
i need a digital camer

Yes you do need a digital :p.

I would also love to see them. I am trying to keep my collection down at the moment, what with the new pup and stuff.
