I do. I've never done a self portrait before, but really wanted to try it out. This is the result - of course, I had to include my little JRT. I'm pretty happy with it. Brandy turned out great, the sweater that I'm wearing looks a little funny, it was bunchy and dark in the ref. photo, but I may have made it too bunchy, and perhaps made too much of it up. Oh well, thanks for looking, let me know what you think. :)

Julie, you really sell yourself short, you are simply amazing. I love it! You and brandy are looking at each other.. what a sweet pose. :)

rock on..i have never had the guts. I think a few practices of sheets draped and use ink washes will help you get the feel of material and drapery. We had to do it a dozen times...:rolleyes: I seriously don't know what i really look like. WHen i look in the mirror i think..is that me? Which is why i have avoided the self portrait. Your brave.

Wow - thank you everyone for the support and kind words - it's appreciated more than you know! It is weird to look at myself on paper ... putting Brandy in the picture helps though. :)

i don't see anything to laugh about.. haha this is absolutely awesome! the shading is great! did you use brushes, spreader or other stuff to make the face shiny? the texture of the jacket is perfect!
