I am a new "worker" that can help my friend with things. She would like to ask about this: how to connect a tablet to a computer?
My friend has an Acer Aspire Switch 10. It has windows 8.1. She would like to know if it is possible to connect them so that you would see in the screen of the computer what would you be doing on the tablet. My friend says that it can't be connected directly to the screen because it has only this kind of connector:
She has this kind of cable:
However when she connects it nothing happens. So what should she do? Would my friend need some other kind of cable? Do you need a special software for it? My friend says that she has always only had PCs that have Windows.
My friend thinks that she would probably need some kind of drivers and she has visited the webpages of the manufacturer. However she found a list where she should have selected the right model but she couldn't find it there. She tried to find those drivers elsewhere. She found some list of downloadabple drivers like this one: http://www.notebook-driver.com/acer/acer-aspire-switch-10-sw5-012-drivers-software/
However she isn't sure which one of them she needs.
My friend would like be able to do same than what is done in this video:

However this man has an iPhone. My friend would like to know if you could do the same with a Windows tablet and a Windows computer. Do you know if there was a free software that could be used for it? Could it be done with the cabel she has or should it be done in a network? Her modem gives Wi-Fi connection.
