This morning Mojo decided to get my conscious self going in a whole new matter. When I opened my eyes and focused on him this morning (he sleeps in my bed), he rolled over onto his back and started to watch me upside down. So, i'm slowly waking up watching my dog's upper lips start to droop by the force of gravity showing off his white canines. He looked maniacal with that crazy reversed bullygrin on his face.

I thought to myself "My dog is very disturbed..."

He stayed like that for about a good 5 minutes just watching me wake up upside down. When I finally started to make movements and noise he righted himself and waited for me to say "get up," which is his cue to get off the bed.

Very odd morning so far.

haha. i love when dogs wake you up by doing ridiculous things. Milo's recently into pulling the pillow out from under my head.

hehe, that's cute.

Kai has gotten more patient than he used to be. When he gets antsy, he'll come up and smell your face. Then, he'll sit on you. (Which I guess isn't that big of deal, since he's only about 20 lbs.) But if he really wants to get us going, he'll get a running start, jump up on the bed, and pounce on our stomachs. What a way to start the day. :p

Ha ha, that is cute! :D

Lucky you though, 2 of my dogs feel it is their duty to wake me every morning with kisses to my face, and then if that doesn't work I get trampled on until I am forced out of bed. And this is usualy around 5-6am.

If I sleep in and Bear needs to go out he usually flicks my hands with his nose a couple times. If that doesn't get my attention he jumps on the bed and flops His 65 pound butt next to me and rolls back and forth wildly pushing me closer to the edge of the bed until I fall or wakeup.

all of those ways that other dogs wake their owners make me glad that Mojo's best ways to wake me up include staring, sighing, and then when I'm being really lazy getting up and running in circles on the wooden floor. He's not allowed to kiss my face (at all) because of my asthma, and he will somewhat sit on me... but he's discovered that just makes me more stubborn in the morning.

Staring and sighing works the best of all... this dog knows how to SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH for maximum effect.

I'm pretty lucky with Tosca. She's very patient with my odd hours. But then she doesn't have to take any action. Mojo lies on my head if I don't get up at the right time anyways. He's not exactly a wisp.

Aww that is so cute I would love to have seen my snappy and shy do that. R.I.P
