What can be done about it? Get rid of the social programs that entice leeches. Then there are only two reasons to come here, production or starvation. Just like it was when America was really America and not some meld of socialists. I would welcome those who want to come here and produce and we could ship non producing Americans down there in an exchange program.

That can happen. We have the ability to vote for change like that. Realistically we are way too soft and we would rather the ship sink than get off our dead apathetic asses and bucket it out. We would rather choose the lessor of 2 evils than shut off the ball game and make the effort to elect someone who is more into saving this nation than his or her own careeer. This welfare will get shut off someday if not by peaceful voting than it will be something much uglier, which is the way it always has happened it the past. We are so arogant to think that we are untouchable and can never fall. I am sure we share the same attitudes as so many who have fallen before us. We have the government we want and deserve, everyone does. 30 years ago would you have thought that if someone told you the state of decay this nation is in now you would have thought it was realistic?
