Nice.

My husband recently rescued a Arizona Mountain Kingsnake from a friend. I used to be scared to death of snake and I have slowly started to handle him and will now hold him on my own and we are cool. I even claim to be his mommy and go buy his food -- now that is love. ;)

My husband would still love to get a bigger snake (boa, python) but I am still scared of them and tell him no. But 2 years ago I said I would never have a snake in my house. Well, he offered to babysit him while his friend was out of town and it all went downhill from there.

Wow hes a beauty!!! I love ball pythons, they are definitly my favorite snake. Aaron said I can get one when we get a new house...that way he has more room to get away from it. Congrats though...he looks really healthy! Im sure you know this but handle him a lot!!

Nedim, as far as snakes go...he is quite stunning. (not that I know he is a "he"...I seem to refer to all snakes as he, maybe because we had two he's) I hope you spend many happy years with him.

I do have to say...even though I never held Bud, (our Ball Python) I will always have a soft spot for him. I did touch him a few times, very soft. Not slimy like I thought he would be. He was a very friendly guy.

I even got to the point of buying live food for him. ( Big move for me)

I almost had a wreck one day, the pet shop was out of rats so they sent me home with three mice. They were out of boxes, (just my luck) so they put them in a paper sack.

On the way home I felt sorry for them,( I was sure they weren't getting any air) so I opened the top of the sack...just a little teeny bit. They jumped out of the top and were running all over the trailblazer. Thought I was going to die.

I was swerving, squirming, and screaming all the way home. I got out of the trailblazer as soon I could and ran for the door. Keith had to round them up...He thought it was funny. I didn't!

If you buy live food, and the pet store is out of boxes. Do not open the sack until you get home. :D

Hes defiantely very cool! Do you have a name for him at all??

What does he eat right now?
He doesnt have a name as of yet. I made a poll last night, and Im gonna check it in a bit to see what everyone things his name should be. I believe that he was on pinkies(rats). Ive been told not to feed for the first week. He seems pretty happy and "loose" in his terrarium, so I might try in a little under a week.
