Actually it's my parent's dog Gabrielle she's a White German Shepard, but I claim her as well she's a total sweetheart. She's having trouble going potty she's constipated and I was wondering if anyone knows of any Home Remedies I could try? I can't find my Pet Home Remedies Book for nothing *figures*

So, if anyone could get me some things to try, I would greatly appreciate it. The medicine the vet gave her isn't agreeing with her at all. So I want to try something natural. I tried Pumpkin Puree, but she won't eat it. :(

Any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in Advance!

Call the Vet back and tell him what is going on....

Do you get black forest tea there? If you do, give her some and CLEAR! Works well, also with mine, what I do is if they are batteling, I give them some steak fat, it greases the way.

You can try some of the same things that you give to people just smaller doses. Try adding a tablespoon of castor oil to her water should work within a day.

I told my parents to try the Puree Pumpkin, it worked wonders! She's doing very well now! Thanks for all the replies, you guys are awesome.

I found the home rememdy book for Pets, it also said a little bit of milk, she loved that too.

Thanks again!!
Heidi =)
