How does one clean a leather belt? What do I buy and how do I do it??

I have a white leather belt and a white wallet that I love but because of wearing jeans all the time it's turning a disgusting shade of bluish grey. I don't want to toss them out because they were expensive and the leather is really nice. Help!

If the leather is a finished leather (which chances are that a wallet and a belt would be made out of finished leather), then a mild moisturizing soap can be used to clean it. All you need is a rag and a small amount of soap mixed with water. Use the rag to rub a small amount of the soap mixture onto the leather and then use a damp rag that has almost been rung dry to do a final wipe. This is what I used to get denim stains off of my cream leather couch and what we recommended to customers when I sold leather.

Do a spot test first in an inconspicuous area with anything that you decide to use to make sure it doesn't damage the leather. Try not to use anything too harsh as it will strip the natural oils from the leather.
