Hi, my name is Karen and I have just started looking for message boards for pets, my pets being dogs. I am starting to train my dog who is up there in years to regularly walk on a leash. I admit, I am embarrassed that I did not do enough of it with either of my dogs. They were either on runners in our yard or chained up. I am looking for good information on walking them on leashes. I started yesterday with my 90 pound lab but still would like more information. I want him to lose some weight and be healthier too. He will be 9 this winter.
