Hello! I happened to stumble across this forum and decided to join.
I'm going to be getting a new dog sometime between now and mid summer. I'm going to give myself a lot of time and not just jump into things because I want a dog that's good for me because it's going to be a lifetime commitment and I don't want to be stuck with a dog that I'm not really fond of and that's not a good fit for me.
I figured this site could supply me with a lot of advice. :3 I mean, I've had dogs before (both large and small) but I figure I could use even more advice that I can't get from reading about dog training. xD Advice from experienced people, perhaps.

You'll find plenty of help here, especially since you are thinking this through and realize it is a long term commitment. We like that
