First, some very sad news. Two weeks ago Saturday I had to euthanize my beloved boy Malcolm. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him ... :(

But some sunshine in my dark days ... :)

Dora earned her URO2 (UKC Rally Advanced) title
Spud finished her UKC Championship.
OE finished her UKC Championship, and already has 3 Champion class wins (and 2 nice Reserves), as well as a Best of Breed and Group 3 with some stiff competition!

I'm so proud of my girls!!! They all miss Malcolm but have finally stopped looking for him to come in the door, which helps a lot.

Hope I didn't miss too much while I was gone ...

Oh my Gosh! Rest In Peace sweet boy.... You will be missed :(

I saw your siggie just a bit ago, and noticed Malcolm. My heart sank.

Congrats on your other news though!

That's definitely a mixed report. It had to be very difficult to let Malcolm go -- he was grand.

Glad to see you back, though -- I've thought about you a lot and wanted to thank you for going above and beyond :)

He was 10. Average for a Collie male is 10-12, females typically 12-14. No, he wasn't as old as I would have liked him to be, but he was in pain and it was in his best interest.
I'm glad the right decision was made for him. He had a great life with you. I'm so sorry for your loss. :( Malcolm was beautiful and awesome.

Way cool about your girls, though. I'm glad there are good things to even out the bad! It's good to see you again!

It helps that they are carrying on his legacy (the Collies anyway). Smidgen is his daughter, Dora is his granddaughter.

Thanks! It's been hard, but we're getting along ... the adults seem to have figured it out, but the puppies are still looking for him. :(
