Harness Suggestion

I'm looking for suggestions for a harness for Ada who is about 13lb. I want to start running with her and don't want her leashed to a collar because she hasn't yet found the difference between jogging and running in the park and tends to pull a bit. Looking for one that doesn't roll to the size, but stays in place nice. I've used Comfortflex and Canadog harnesses for Leo, but didn't know if there was something better for a smaller dog.

We have the Kurgo Pinnacle harness. Convertable for car harness. Addie has a weird body shape (large ears, fluffy neck, but thin shoulders and a deep-ish chest) so it is really hard to find something that fits her just right and doesn't roll off to the side. Even still, it has been a pretty good harness, and we like it a lot. It has a front clip, and a top clip. It slides over the head, so adjustments might need to be done. When adjusted, it is less likely to roll/skide off to the side.

They have other types of harness that might be better for what you are looking for though.

As many harnesses as I have, Puppia is always our go-to. It's comfortable, it's lightweight, easy to wash, comfortable for them and doesn't rub them weird while running (he wears it ALL the time while running around, sometimes I don't take it off him all day). I have multiple colors lol. The original harness in medium fits Jackson perfect (he's like 18lbs) but we have an adjustable neck one for Lola who is smaller but the small doesn't fit over her head. So they do have the Rite Fit one plus a few other styles.

As you can see it doesn't hinder movement at all lOL




Our other harnesses are used for specific things usually. Ruffwear Front Range if I may need to lift him (although I can do this with puppia too pretty easily). I have a Julius k9 harness for him when I need him to look more 'official', a black leather ChokeFree is for our "city downtown" type walking. etc.

But yeah Puppia is what I tend to reach for as a go-to. They're great for small dogs but they have them for bigger dogs too now.

We have the IDC harness and it fits great. I like the shape of it because it lays lower on the chest so it doesn't bother his neck, and I think it would work for you for running. They have many sizes so I'm sure you would find one that fits perfect for you.
