I think most of you know, I had Happy put to sleep 1 week ago.

She was such a sweet girl. Senior dogs are hard. From the moment I sent in my adoption application, I thought this was a dog who was on super borrowed time - like, maybe I'd get a couple months from her. The months went on, then it became a year, then it became 2 years. And while I always knew it was coming, it seems like I became less prepared for it as the time went on.

She's very missed...

Oh, I didn't know. =< I'm so sorry. Happys are good dogs... really good dogs. Run free old girl.

I did see on Facebook, but I still always comment here as well.

So sorry, Ally. She looked like an awesome girly. I think it is awesome that she got to live her last few years in a wonderful home. :) RIP Happy.

I'm so sorry :(

This has been a rough spring for so many of my dog friends' families.

Sorry to hear that, and I'm impressed that she lived happily for as long as she did. Clearly a testament to the fact that she was well loved and cared for.

Hugs. Try to remember all the love and good times you shared. I'm so sorry.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. You may have only had her for 2 years, but they were clearly her BEST 2 years.

Oh Happy, I hope your cross of the bridge was met with warmth and wagging tails. I had my senior Neccy with the same thought, a few months, maybe a year, and it stretched into 3. The time spent together was equal to a lifetime of love and friendship that I miss so dearly. ((((((HUGS and HUGS)))))) I am very sorry Happy is gone, but I am so very glad that her last years made her name fitting.

Oh, gosh...I didn't see this before. I don't get on here much lately. I was so sorry to read that you lost Happy. But like the others say, she was one lucky dog that she had you. And you were lucky to have her in your life, even though it was such a short time. I hope things are easing up for you. I know you'll always miss her. It's always so hard. My heart goes out to you dear.
