Dang it if i had the gas money and a car that would make it there...i would bring you one! dog food is pratical..you need something plus that..so we will pretend i am a millionaire and can do the dog food no sweat (talk about dreaming..i am almost out myself) but i love to pretend so now..what for you? road runner at home? i know exactly what i would want..wine? fancy tea? truffles upon truffles? weekend in a fancy spa? We have the Elms here..it is a fancy smancy place with spring water in Excelsior MO..My friend Jo use to pick me up as soon as the kids went to school and we would spend the day there on thursdays..I adored thursdays!!!! they had a warm waterfall you could stand under and i swear feel every bit of tension wash away from your muscles..even included lunch..and that was devine too. Hot sauna and moist..a rain room omg is was heaven on earth..how bout u take yourself there for two days.
If wishes were horses i would send you there for your b-day. Think you need it.

ct that happened to me once..i went next door to ask my neighbor if he would like to come over for a piece of birthday cake and when i got home i found only a plate on the floor and one seriously guilty labrador!!! He ate the whole thing,,i hadn't even had one piece. I never told mom after she went to all the bother to grate the chocolate and everything.

I bet he had one heck of a tummy-ache! You'd think that would teach them a lesson, but him being a lab my guess would be that he'd do it all over again if he had the chance!!

didnt bother him....nothing did, he even swallowed a tennis ball and my neighbor called me up to inform he that he had just passed it on the lawn. He was a powerhouse of a dog.

Thanks all!

Give Gus a big kiss on the snoot from me!

Birthday cake eating dogs, hmm? Reminds me of the time our next door neighbors, the Svedeens, in California were having a birthday party for one of their six kids. Barbara left the cake on the kitchen counter and came back to find their Lab, Sally, happily licking the icing off of one side! She smoothed the frosting out . . . :D

Smkie, I've wished I could send you to Hot Springs. It's about 40 minutes from here - hot tubs that they fill with natural hot mineral water from the natural hot springs there. It's wonderful! I can't get Charley to go and it would do his knees so much good. And talk about relaxing . . .

I may have to start buying a lottery ticket once in awhile . . . With enough of a pot I could start that doggy-commune! :D
