God I can't stand it.
Who in their right mind wants a mutt with a huge price tag and a cutsie name? A mutt is fine, but by God call it what it is! A Goldendoodle or Labradoodle or any other doodle or 2 purebreds mixed together is nothing more than a glorified mutt.
Why do you breed mutts when there are thousands in shelters worldwide? They can't be registered, they can't be shown, they don't have conformation standards or a purpose in general. What health tests do you do? What kind of pedigree do the parents have? Do you offer a health guarantee for your mutts?
I find you very rude. Please leave my thread.

Weren't you the one who said they didn't like this place and were never going to come back? You breed doodles, you're going to have to put up with people telling you the truth. I'm sorry you don't want to hear it.

Thats something I love about goldendoodles, they have variety. At the shows I've been to, all the dogs look the same, act the same and have no personality or anything that makes them stand out in a crowd.Dogs are disowned or gotten rid of if they don't have something so trivial as the right eye or coat color. As this forum says, its about the temperment, the personality and the behaviour of the dog.Unfortuanlty in the eyes of judges and the AKC This is not the case, all they want is a pretty dog.
If that's what purebreds are supposed to be like, heck Im glad my dogs are a mixed breed!
Heh... teehee that's funny. Purebred dogs are supposed to look the same - the standard describes the ideal dog of that breed, not lots of ideal dogs. As far as acting the same... maybe in shows they do. Show dogs are trained to behave at shows. But let me tell you, if you ever spent a measure of time with real show dogs you'd realize they have personalities and quirks, just like other dogs. And dog shows aren't about "pretty dogs" - they're about evaluating breeding stock for soundness and structure. Then again, I see a well put together, sound and conformationally correct dog as "pretty"... soo.... :)

Methinks you just don't like show dogs...

Also, I don't believe this is "your" thread. You don't own this forum. This is a public message board, and its members can post pretty much wherever they wat.

PS - I'm glad to see you've accepted the fact that you breed mixes!

Obviously, if someone is willing to pay $1000 for a dog, then you probably wouldnt find them in a shelter trying to adopt. Something draws people to "doodles" so its whatever. Let them spend their money however they choose. People know what they want and maybe a "shelter" dog isnt for them.

What does that mean? Are you saying you don't have the heart to take in an incredible dog that needs a loving home? If you can't even consider saving the life of a dog in need, you aren't fit to own a dog at all.
WOW, who are you to make that judgement? I, personally would never rescue a dog, because I have limited room and any dog I get I get for a purpose. Each one of my dogs has a unique "job", and a shelter dog just doesnt fit into my mix. I will take in dogs that have to be re-homed (I have three right now) but I took them because they were useful, sorry to put it so bluntly.

People are attracted to Doodles, like I said before, and NO ONE can judge one's attraction to a certain type of dog. How would you like it if I said, if you dont like german shepherds then your and idiot and arent fit to own a dog.. Same with shelter dog, you cant force it upon people.
