Since Gusto is nearly 3 (or already 3, or 3 today - it is hard to tell with rescues), and since I haven't taken real photos of the dogs in forever, we went to the beach with some friends for romping and pictures. Sadly the lake is still really high and there wasn't much actual beach, but fun was still had by all!
There was a 6 month old lab there when we arrived, which briefly worried me, but he was pretty respectful of Meg and mostly just tried to play with Gusto and the goldens. He did get a little rough at one point...
But Meg was quick to step in and defend her brother.
At one point, Gusto was desperate for a break from the lab, and took refuge in his safe spot.
Then the lab left, and the fun really began.
There was tugging between siblings.
And a failed attempt by the 28 lb dog to pull a golden around.
