It's a beeeeaaauuuutiful day! Yes, the morning person strikes again. :lol-sign:

I'm off work today, so I've decided to spend the day cleaning my house top to bottom. It needs a good clean after the havoc our kitchen remodel wreaked on our house. We've been so busy that we haven't had a chance to do much more than some cursory tidying.

I've already loaded up the dishwasher and am working on bleaching all our white laundry. Found some of last year's homegrown garden tomatoes in the freezer, so I'm thinking chicken cacciatore, homemade pasta and some fresh-from-the-oven French bread sound great for dinner. I have a Totino's pizza in the oven for breakfast, the puppies are snoozing, and life is good.

Anybody else have big plans for today?

Meh, not really. I have a huge birthday cookout (Corey's turning 16) to prepare for Friday (the gathering is Saturday, but I have gobs of salads, baked beans, etc to prepare) so I'm saving most of my energy for that, LOL

Thinking I may clean/reorganize the office today though............we'll see where that takes me, LOL

Have a good day off Gemp, that cacciatore sounds YUM!

The night just seems clearer and more interesting to me... Days can be good too - but I'm really alot more of a night person. That's why I walk around midnight - on a good enough one it seems like the whole world/city is yours for even just a moment.

Today - walk the dog, bank, beach possibly then housework afterwards. Very exciting indeed...

Sounds like you have a very productive day ahead of you! I am planning for my Saturday to be similar. The house really needs a good, thorough cleaning. And you know, I have a really hard time getting up early, but once I am up I'm glad I am. The day is so much better and there is so much more time to do things when you get up early. I keep trying to train myself to be a morning person. :)

Nothing exciting going on for me today. Just another day at work, waiting for a bunch of different shipments to come in that I need to go through and stock. Not a fan of these days. I get so overwhelmed with the disorganized mess and for me it's kinda like the first day you move into a new house and boxes are everywhere and you don't know where to even start. Shipment days drive me crazy. Really wish I had a more interesting job!

It's cleaning day for me as well. The apartment is rather cluttered from the move still and I think I've finally figured out where to put everything lmao.

I'm a morning person! I woke up at 6:30 to go to the farmers market, and then I went to the Springs, and then I went to my friends house to do a workout (Which made me want to kill myself... Ugh, wayy too hot) and then on too volleyball practice and now I'm home again and I'm probably gonna laze around unless I go for a run later.

I can be a morning person. If I can sleep in I will but if I need to be up... I am up and chipper and ready to go.

Today Hannah had her check up with the eye docotr. That went well. She sat in the chair in her own and followed all of their instructions... Her one doc looks like House lol.

After that we headed over to a friends to help them harvest their corn, husk it, cook it, cut the kernels off and prepare for freezing. Very messy, sticky work but lts of fun too. There is something theraputic about slicing through soft corn kernels lol. Plus they sent me home with 8 pints of the sweetest, most delicious corn. Mmmm mmmm.

But then I re injured my neck somehow and have pretty much been laid up ever since lol

Ugghhhh how I hate mornings lol.

Today I had to wake up earlier than I would have liked (8:30) to go to a job interview. Did that, took Juno to the dog park, read a few chapter in my book, took a nap, went to work and now I'm going to watch TV and hang out for a couple hours. Gotta try to go to bed early... this part of the week is when I have my poopy work days so I have to wake up at 5:30 tomorrow raaaggghhhhh.
