Oh no, is hard to believe is real.. I'm so sorry, I'm not sure how it happened.

Kat's life was short, but she had a lot of love many dogs that have lived more years didn't had.

I know how it feels, it can be so hard my condolences.

I am so very sorry. :(

The loss of a beloved pet (and friend, snuggle buddy, alarm clock, shoulder to cry one....) is never easy. But the sudden loss........it takes your breath away and leaves you unable to focus on anything but just taking one breath after another. I've had to put down many dogs over the years due to various ailments, but when I lost Mia....in the blink of an eye....I still can't get over it. I was never able to say good-bye or tell her how much she meant to me or Cole.......

Take care of yourselves. Take time to grieve. And don't be afraid to smile. I didn't know Kat, but I had quite the feisty Cairn Terrier for 20 years, so I'm pretty sure I can imagine some of her terror-ish ways. Like you said, those things that annoyed you yet made you smile at the same time.

((((many many hugs))))

I have no words! I am so sorry Kerri. My heart pours tears for you.
No puppy should die.

Run free little Kat. I will miss you.

Thanks for the kind words.

Yes Mia, that is a lot of it, the shock of the suddenness of it all makes the tragedy all that more painful.

I find myself getting angry at the english language. I do not like the way the past tense creeps in. Like "I loved her so much"... No, my love did not end with her life. I still love that crazy little dog with abandon.

Dekka has been uber attached. I type this as she lies across my chest/neck. Maf was super sweet today and brought me lunch in bed (I had a lot of trouble sleeping so was still in bed an 1pm) Dekka thought food delivered (as she even brought Dekka's breakie up) right to your bed was the bestest, most exciting thing evar.

The out pouring of sympathy here and everywhere, the phone calls, emails and pms is truly appreciated. No nothing anyone says will bring my perfect puppy back, but it does help.

And where ever your dog might be right now, she still loves you, and that's something not even death can destroy.
