Ingredient wise it's a nice food, it just happened to not take off well since shortly after it hit the market, there was a recall since some dogs eating it developed liver disease or liver failure and some even died due to this.

The food was manufactured at the Merrick plant in Texas at the time due to US export restrictions because of BSE.

Now it's manufactured in Canada and I think the company does their best to prevent anything like that from ever happening again.

The only things I don't like is that they still use synthetic vitamin K (menadione) and vitamin E.

Thanks Mordy....

I realized that this food contained menadione after purchasing it. I did some research and am a little concerned. Toby had been eating this food for 4 days before I realized this and did my research. Hmmm, I was hoping Tobes would turn his nose up at it...but the opposite occured. He LOVES it!!! But I don't think I'm gonna be purchasing a second bag of Go! Natural.... I'm sure I can find Tobes another food that he will hopefully like just as much! (minus the menadione).

On a side note, I did notice that this food smells a lot better than Evo... I wonder if that has anything to do with Tobes liking it more...

Update: I emailed Petcurean yesterday and they replied this morning. I had questioned their use of menadione in their food. This was their reply:

Thank-you for your enquiry. This ingredient has been removed from our food,
but we have a number of empty bags to use up.
If you have further questions, please ask.

Thank-you

Good to know, they should remove it from the ingredient lists on their website too then! :)

Interesting... I find that just a little suspicious. It's wonderful if they HAVE removed it from their food, but it seems a bit convenient. I hope they're being honest!! Because that would be great!

I do think they are being honest. A number of manufacturers have removed, or are in the process of remiving, menadione from their food but may still be using packaging that doesn't reflect this change.
