AHHH SUPER ANXIOUS. Bah!
STOP. You'll be fine. Take some deep breaths. If you're this anxious, you shouldn't be driving yourself there, so if you want to drive yourself there, you need soothe yourself. Deep breaths and other calming techniques will help, and if they don't, please get someone else to drive you. <3

My experience was great. I went in, forgot to take painkillers, and it was two or three of the worst period cramps I've ever experienced. After that, nothing. Just more normal cramps and bleeding (I was on my period). I think I drove myself home. I remember waiting in the waiting area alone for a while, just to make sure it didn't get worse, and it never did.

My symptoms after sucked balls for 6 months. If you read the pamphlet, I'm that one weirdo who got EVERYTHING. I stuck it out, and after almost exactly 6 months I was fine. Now I have super light periods and occasional pain during intercourse, but that's it. I've also never had a baby, so I'm pretty happy with the trade-off!

I survived. And managed to drive myself to and from okay. :) I was pretty nervous but the Dr knew I was so she went out of her way to talk me through it and do anything she could to make me more comfortable. It was painful, but as bad as the two cramps were when she put it in, I had about am hour of suffering once I got home, with some light bleeding. But now I just have a cramp here and there and no bleeding.

Over all, not THAT bad... But it seriously made me question if I would ever be able to stand the pain of having a baby! Lol

Fair Trade Honey from lush? Any reviews!?What is the smell like? Placing an order and I'm scared to try things I haven't smelled after my experience with Godiva Shampoo Bars! x_x

Also, favorite lush products and why?

So tonight I bought three different drugstore mascaras... I need more of my Dior but I'm trying to wait so I have something to put on my Christmas list. So I bought:

Maybelline Volum' Express Falsies Big Eyes

Maybelline Volum' Express Colossal Cat Eyes (I confess I mostly bought this one because it has cheetah print on the mascara tube...)

L'oreal Voluminous Miss Manga

NONE of these are actually what I went in to buy. But they didn't have what I wanted and all three of these came in waterproof. I am looking up reviews on Makeup Alley and OMG I am terrified to open any of them. People are so polarized... like half the people love it and half hate it. Some of them say it's super waterproof and other people are like IT SMUDGES EVERYWHERE I HATE IT. Oh my God. I can't decide if I should take them all back and go spend the $20 on a Diorshow tube instead...

I use the colossal cat eye Waterprood. Made it through 100 degree music festival with no smudging. It will smudge when I chop onions but seems fine when crying from laughing. I have the falsie one too but not the waterproof one.

For Mascara I highly recommend Marc Jacobs O!Mega. Omg. I have always been a drug store mascara girl. I thought it was ridiculous to spend $20, $30 on mascara. I have been a faithful Maybelline user only occasionally straying to try a few different brands if they seemed interesting. I got a sample of the Marc Jacobs from Sephora and it changed my life lol! It is AWESOME. I have NEVER had clumpy or spidery lashes, never had smudging or "crumbling". Only long thick looking lashes! I love love love it!

Okay, so you are responsible for me opening the cat eye one this morning LOL. It's on, I was a bit slow getting the second coat on my left eye and it clumped a bit. I just used my eyelash brush to separate them back out after it dried. So far so good as far as how it looks. Definitely black and coated nicely.

So we shall see how it goes today, it's on my top and bottom lashes this morning. I'm off to the gym this evening and it's BodyStep night too so it's like ULTIMATE TEST time.

I've been using an Ulta mascara that I got in a gift collection for free, and I like it, but it's not very waterproof. Not that it smudges or anything, which is good, but it doesn't stay put. So we'll see how this does...

I always like to get the Lash Stash from Sephora to try out different mascaras that I might want in full size. I've found Benefit's They're Real to be great and long lasting and actually a pain in the butt to remove despite not being listed as waterproof. I do always love the Dior minis and there's the new Urban Decay Perversion that looked great when I tried that last week.

I <3 mascara...

Girly venting.

I got the Depo shot for the first time a little over 2 months ago. I skipped my next period so I thought hey, sweet, it's just going to stop my period.

NOPE. Period started a week and a half ago and is still raging. It gets a little lighter and then comes back with a vengeance. Tonight I'm cramping and I'm ANGRY and I want it to go away. >:|

So the Colossal Cat Eyes got their first test when I ended up with a piece of hair somehow making it's way underneath my contact lense and my eye watered like crazy. Passed that test.
Passed with flying colors at the gym, no smudging or smearing or raccoon eyes and it appears to have all completely stay put.

It did give me raccoon eyes after my shower, but the Diorshow does that too. I needed eye makeup remover to take it off, which is the same for my Diorshow.

So far I think that one will work until I hopefully get some more of my high-end stuff for Christmas.

Next week I will give another one of them I bought a shot and see what I think!

Oof, that wasn't my experience with it, but I did spot for a LONG time when I first went on it, about a full year. No spotting or cramping or bleeding at all now. Hopefully the cramps will stop shortly because boo, that sucks.

Gah! I just want to buy inexpensive, practical thongs, is that so much to ask?

Also, I am going in tomorrow for my check up re my mirena that I had put in a month ago. So far, I think I am doing okay on it. Though, I was supposed to start my period around the time they'd put it in, and never got a period.... Sooo... Hoping that since I took a pregnancy test the day they put it in that was negative, that the lack if period is a mirena related thing.

It finally stopped a couple of days ago. All said and done it lasted 20 days, although luckily I wasn't cramping the whole time, it was on and off. Bleh. I really want it to work for me. I can't be on the pill anymore because I get migraines, so my options are pretty much the shot or an IUD. I haven't decided yet if I'll try another round of it.

If your experience is anything like mine with Mirena, your period will be a complete surprise for at least the first few months. Like I just got my first real period (not spotting, not clotting) since I had my IUD put in. Surprisingly light and painfree and basically over in two days.

My Dr seems to think that I will not be getting a period, really. I haven't had one yet, and should be starting my second one since having it put in. All went well at my appointment. :)

So, while some of you are getting ON BC, I am getting off of it. BEANIE (we need a tagging system like facebook) might remember when I got it in I was freaked out and it tried popping out of my arm, and I was in a lot of pain. Removal wasn't nearly as bad, although there was a lot of scar tissue and it didn't want to come out. I can still feel the line of scar tissue under my skin where it used to be.

My transition to no more Implanon has been interesting. I was late for my scheduled period by like 2 or 3 weeks. Had ONE singular 30-second "OW WTF just kicked me in the uterus" moment, bled like crazy for 2 days, normal for another, and then it was gone. In four days. Poof.

Period magic. I AM WEARING WHITE-CROTCH PANTIES AGAIN. I never knew how much random spotting ruled my life for 2 years.

Only some small pressure on my left ovary the last few days. Nothing like the horrors of my teenage PCOS, PMDD, etc, etc. But I haven't even gotten my second period yet. So we will see.

In the other girly things news, The Sea Moisture shampoo from Organix makes my scalp HURT and break out in tiny little itchy owie bumps.

My clinique foundation is sorta the best thing ever. And so is the They're Real mascara from Benefit.

My face is still clearing up, and is not as sensitive as it was on Implanon. So I am still using coconut oil, but some days a gentle foamy cleanser and a scrub too. My only problem is picking. 90% of my acne is gone. But I am still obsessing about picking at my face. The majority of it is blackheads/clogged pores, though, not actual pimples. Doesn't matter. Obsessive picking continues.

Omg I want to shoot myself in the eye sometimes because i can look in the mirror at my perfectly not broken out face and immediately set to ****ing it up by trying to pick and squeeze blackheads that aren't ****ing there.

Grr.

Glad your transition off of implanon is going well. That sounds scary as ****.
