The hairdressers were thinking of indigo. Indigo can turn green when bleached. Take any photos of my red hair, show it to them, and tell them that's what dyed henna looks like. I did real dye every 2 months and henna in between to cover the roots and prevent fading.

For those who have had the Mirena... I went and picked mine up today and they told me about the pill I have to take the night before and said "Is there any chance you're pregnant" and went on to talk about how bad the pills are if you are, and I am just curious now (because I have this irrational fear that even if I am using several methods of protection, if you're having sex there's the chance of pregnancy) but do you generally have to get a pregnancy test before they ask you to take those pills? Or should I get a stick to pee on just to be safe or...? I am 99.9% certain I am not preg.... but when she said that it freaked me out.

They didn't make me test, but definitely asked - the misoprostol and mirena would likely terminate a pregnancy I suspect.

Okay... I am just going to tell myself to stop worrying about it. When I saw the size of the box it came in I was like "OH MY GOD. You're gonna do WHAT with that?" lol! But I am less worried about it now.

I know when I went to see my Dr she mentioned something about blood work but then never mentioned it again, so I don't know 100% what's going on. All I know is I have the mirena in my possession and only paid $6.08 for it and the misoprostol.

LOL here the doc provides the Mirena, so I never saw the box - I bet a large part of the box size is the tool they use to insert as it's all packaged together.

That is weird! Haha
They did a pregnancy test at my appointment before putting in the Mirena. I didn't know until they came in the room as told me I wasn't pregnant. I also didn't take a pill before - just aspirin the day of.

Good luck!!!!

I got my nose pierced yesterday. And I really love it. It actually did not hurt that bad and my eyes did not tear up at all.
All in all, I've had 16 piercings. And my freakin' nose was the one that hurt me the most :rofl1:
I don't know why, but I teared up so badly and actually yelled a bit lol.

ha ha that is too funny, and you are not the first one to say that the nose was their worst piecing. I watched youtube videos of people getting their nose pieced and I was expecting my eyes to run like crazy and for it to hurt like mad, but nope. It was a welcomed surprise ha ha

Admittedly my other 7(?) were all in my ears, but out of all my piercings and my first tattoo, my nose by far hurt the worse! The second tattoo put it to shame though... lol. It took a lot longer than the first tattoo though.

I wish I still had any of my piercings, but I'm allergic to every metal known to man, apparently. I would like to get my ears done again and try titanium and niobium and if those don't work, then I guess it's not meant to be :(

Glad you got it done and like it!

I've had I think 6 piercings and my nose wasn't bad at all. I don't remember it hurting very much. Nipples definitely win most painful, followed by my vertical labret. Neither of which I have in anymore :( I'm down to just ears and nose at the moment!

How long does it last and what kind of effects does it have on people with wavy/straight hair? My hair isn't super curly (except underneath) but it is pretty frizzy, and just annoying (straight/wavy/curly in random places).

It last 16 weeks. It cut my blowdrying time in half by sealing the hair sort of (he described it as like rain-x for your car lol so water/humidity doesn't penetrate so your hair is all soft/shiny). It didn't change my hair texture really, so I assume it wouldn't for you, my hair is still curly when wet, it just isn't frizzy or as poofy.

if your hair is thin, I would check out the Keratin treatment. The brazilian blow did seem more geared toward curly hair
