I just bought some sulfate free argan oil shampoo and conditioner (and leave in conditioner), I pretty much always have just cheap whatever stuff (I also usually don't shampoo, just rinse or condition). Anyway, I used the shampoo/conditioner the other day and have been spraying the leave in conditioner every day and my hair is soooo nice! I'm loving it. Guess the expensive stuff might actually be worth it, what do you know!?
Ooohhh, I may have to give the leave in conditioner a try! My hair is sooo frizzy right now.

I gave up and bought SLS and paraben-ful, crappy shampoo.

When I wash my hair 1x every two weeks to a month, it's so much happier on the crappy shampoo. I was borrowing pea sized globs of my roommate's and finally realized that I should just buy the stuff my hair likes, even if it's shitty.

I really want my bath tub back...I miss my bombs and bubble bars and truffles etc...soon I hope lol.

However, in the meantime I am working on these

Eyeshadow making time :) Most of the colors I have for soaping are pretty bright and not the best for eyeshadow so I will have to play around and see what I can come up with as I am trying not to buy more mica for colors....though I probably will

What! No bath bombs?!
I confess that bath bombs are pretty much the only thing I ever buy at Lush LOL.
I love bath bombs, and with my giant tub I use a lot! (Just not lush, I want to buy stuff, I don't need some companies politics slammed in my face, especially when it's shutting down the city that i call home) now I buy from people in town or on etsy.

I really don't take baths though! I almost got one but I spent so much already!
The only time I ever take a bath is to relax and do a bath bomb or something hahaha. That's not true, sometimes I take them because I'm killer sore and I'm doing a muscle soak... but all the OTHER times I take a bath are just for relaxing!!

My small size is really getting annoying. Getting Bras,& Bikini's are such a hassle. Finding clothing can be hard too.

People always mistake me for young. I'm use to it , though.

Thing is- I was a large baby. Almost 9 pounds at birth.

I finally went ahead and tried a mayonnaise treatment on my hair today... kind of grossed me out and the smell is lingering more than I imagined lol but my hair looks nice!

Sometimes I think I should just go back to the days where I flat-ironed my hair every day, and then I didn't have to do weird stuff like this... ugh curls. :p

Do a shampoo sized daub and run it through, let it sit a few minutes and then wash. This works just as well and doesn't leave a smell.

Don't do eggs...gross..they don't do anything.

So I just bought my first haul of Lush products. Turns out the only Lush store in Tennessee is about an hour away from me so me and my sister took a little road trip out there because we were having a hard time figuring out what we wanted online. Everyone in the store was so nice, and they had a really good selection including things I didn't see online. I ended up getting the I love Juicy shampoo, the American Cream conditioner, the Angels on bare skin, Enzymion, and Tea Tree Water for my face, some Honey I Washed the Kids for my body, and then they gave me some samples of Dream Cream and Ocean Salt. I will update once I have used everything!
Yay, another Lushie! :p

My addiction is strong.

Ocean Salt is awesome. Let the Good Times Roll. Angels on bareskin. I LOVE blousey (shampoo) but it makes my back break out :(. They suggested washing upside down and not letting the shampoo'd hair touch my back but meh. Happy happy joy joy is my fave conditioner. And Fair Trade Honey. Flying Fox shower gel. I love it all...

Gosh my OH would kill me if I bought that much hair products lol, I just can't make him understand that I just can't use one type of shampoo and conditioner all the time, my hair gets "tired" of it. I keep dandruff shampoo around in case my scalp gets itchy. Damage repair in case it gets brittle, and deep moisture / frizz control for if it gets dry or frizzy.

He just can't understand that woman hair is not man hair :/

So I guess I didn't use enough shampoo because there are parts of my hair that are super dirty and greasy and like...sticky or something! I tried to only use a little cause it's so expensive but I guess I have too much hair to use that little. And it really doesn't lather much/for very long. Boooo.

And the rest of my hair feels dry :(. Is there an adjustment period? I had used sulfate/silicone free for a while but just before going for Lush I was using Herbal Essenses because I had given up. So an adjustment period would make sense.

Loving all the face stuff though! And the honey I washed the kids!

Your hair has product build up. Get a chelating shampoo and use it once or twice. Your hair should be fine after.

I used sulphate free very expensive Moroccan oil shampoo and conditioner. Honestly my hair never feels that good using sulphate free shampoos. No matter how long I use them. I've tried 2 or 3 now. It doesn't feel bad just not silky. I have very fine hair but quite a lot of it.

Thank you!

I washed my hair again tonight (I couldn't stand it, it was horrible) and I think I honestly just didn't use enough shampoo the first time. I used about a pea sized amount. This time I used probably closer to a tablespoon (if that). It was super bubbly and foamy and awesome! It definitely got all over my scalp this time. It's still wet, but I have a feeling I'll be much happier with it this time.

I did add an egg to my mayo :p Thankfully the mayo smell went away lol and I'm still liking the affect it had on my hair! It reminds me of how my hair is after I henna - soft/shiny/frizz-free. But this was a lot easier to do :p

I hate the learning curve on new products. I bought a new gel today and while it seems to have potential and I kind of like the results I got... I can tell I didn't use enough of it. It feels like a waste of product because now I'll probably end up with my hair just getting put in a pony tail. The consistency is just so different from the old stuff I was using, apparently I need to use more than I'm used to!

Definitely like my hair results now! Still haven't washed it since the 2nd time using it (so the night of the 2nd). I can tell there will be a little bit of an adjustment period, but it isn't bad so far. It was a little tiny bit oily looking this morning so I put cocoa powder in it and it looks good. (Almost got the Lush dry shampoo but didn't. I may next time.)

RE: Lush addicts....I found a Lush store in the mall here. I'm doomed. I went in and a super happy preggers woman showed me all the things and doomed me forever. Money? What money? Do we really need a house?

I've been fiddling around with my hair routine, again. My ends are so fried. It's the last little bit hanging on from last year's bleaching. I already cut it pretty short, but I'm thinking I might have to just go ahead and put it to my shoulders. If they start splitting and going higher it just won't be worth it. But I don't want to. I'm trying to GROW my hair out, not chop it off!!

So I've really only been washing my hair once a week to 10 days. Inbetween I've been doing CO washes. Then once a week I will do a protein wash/mask and a deep conditioning hair mask to follow up. It's been working pretty well. It's keeping everything soft and healthy looking/feeling at least. It isn't super grimy and dry like it was when I first moved here and adjusted to the dry air and super hard water. So that's good.

So now it comes down to henna. Next week I am doing henna. A super bright red henna. And I have to shove as much research in a week as possible, because I'm doing it. No major bills, nothing big happening. No excuses. I am stepping away from the developer and using henna and stain-dyes only (like manic panic).

And if anyone is having issues with their feet this summer....I suggest Bag Balm. Holy cow (lol?) soft feet.

ETA: I've also been doing coconut oil in my hair as a pre-wash the night before. No major changes yet.
