GG broke her leg this morning

SHe will have surgery tomorrow morning. Vibes for MR. Shaffer's Mommy? IT just ruined her whole morning. Alls he did was turn too fast in the kitchen. Mr. Shaffer was getting sick to his stomach and she turned to rush him outside. I got there right after and he met me at the door not with the over the top happy, but tail tucked and woe begone. I think he thought it was his fault. IT wasn't. HE didnt' knock her down, was no where close. I helped get her ready, my Brother came and seconded my opinion that she should go, and the ambulance was called. She so wanted it to just be a big bump, it was swelling way too fast for that. WE elevated and iced, while we dressed and got ready. By the time the ambulance got there she had her coat and purse ready, but her spirits were so not. She could use some extra prayers. It is very hard to be old and fiercely independent.

DUe to her age I think they have decided the risk of surgery is too much and to see how it heals. I am so relieved.
